Sealed Game Heaven — Forgotten Freshness
← General Sealed Discussion
Check out this crazy auction for 247 sealed NES games!

http://cgi.ebay.com/Sealed-New-NES-Nintendo-247-Games-Instant-Collection_W0QQitemZ160141893483QQihZ006QQcmdZViewItem

So, it is already over $2,000 with over 2 days left, which is not bad, at less than $10 a game!

What do you think these are worth individually, on average? I didn't see any stadium events or anything in the list, but it is still very impressive. I'd guess $30 per game would be very fair, but that is a complete guess. Comments?

(by the way, this is NOT my auction. I just was impressed by it.)
Look at that, Illusion of Time sealed --> http://cgi.ebay.de/Illusion-of-Time-UK-Pal-NEW-Factory-Sealed-SNES_W0QQitemZ370004947601QQihZ024QQcategoryZ11248QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
It looks so beatiful! As the most of N64 / SNES UK-PAL sealed games...
one of those fucking scammers who see that sealed collecting is getting bigger.
WOW I never thought a game like ZOOL reaches that amount of money in sealed condition:

Want to have this game! Now I know, that CD-i Games were also sealed

But don't know if they were all sealed... Would be interesting to have all the CD-i Zelda games sealed.

Check out item number 250202469483 on eBay...a factory sealed, mint SNES Doomsday Warrior sold for $305.00! I'm just shocked because I didn't think this game was very well-known. I personally played it when I was younger and loved it, so I put a max bid of $60.00 and actually expected to win!! lol I had no idea this game was worth this much!
omg! never thought that this snes game is that much ...
here is another example

gratz to Adol

Adol said that he is bidding for one of his friends who would pay insane amounts for SNES games he likes.
MGS Subsistence LE (with a bunch of other stuff, basically a lot)

he could have gotten them very cheap in the past. hes either a private collector in the past who got lucky with these gems or he used to sell them back in the day. either way its pretty impressive. this is great if you have a museum you can show them off. but if its going to sit inside your closet, what a waste of $10k
> pooch wrote:Adol said that he is bidding for one of his friends who would pay insane amounts for SNES games he likes.
Right, and i think personally $305 for Doomsday Warrior is crazy!
But CONDITION is everything to him
I proposed him the same game, factory sealed, for $40, and he didn't want it because there was some scuffs on seal...

But I got for him Batman Returns for quite cheap actually yesterday!

you must have been over my house lately while I've not been home. from 1997 through 2004 (when I was authoring strategy guides), I was buying up just about every new release (jp) with the intent that if I got lucky and worked on the guide, I would have resource materials. fast forward to today, and I'm still picking up 2-3 copies (both us and jp) of just about every major release and quickly running out of room.

however, you're absolutely correct that without having a "proper" way to display the treasures, it's sort of like that government facility at the end of raiders of the lost ark with everything all boxed away.
