Post your holy grail... (your rarest sealed game)

I guess we need a comparison to confirm what is a factory seal and what is not. I would expect those sellers to have tons of factory sealed games then; I mean, if they got the technique they should reseal and resell a lot...? I think it's just a game many collectors back then kept sealed and copies have now fallen into merchants' hands - or people who just don't give a damn and want some money out of it.

They should already have thought of resealing a Power Console... a seal is a seal, once you have the game it's easy if you know how to fake it.

The thing is that, to reseal a Power Console,the least you'd need is...a Power Console.
And even for $50000,you don't have one,just because no one is for sale.

Why did I take that example?

WOW. Looks like a weird reseal.

That seal doesn't look like mine and I know that's real!! Mine is smooth where that one is crinkled, plus the ends of the box look a little worn around the flap. Might be legit but doesn't look like it!

Where did you get yours? I have only seen one for on Ebay for the past 4 years of searching, perhaps missed some. Any advice on where to find one?

I got mine for free from the European Club Nintendo :-) i was lucky I got the last one of the 3 that were available in Belgium.

I've seen only 1 for sale on ebay.fr a couple of years ago and it went for 750?

I also have the zelda TP statue. and I got another 15000 points so I'm waiting for another big update in the star catalogue to get something good.

I got this today. I really don't have a big collection or anything but this would definetly be my 'holy grail' mainly because I enjoyed the game so much.

a great game kingdom hearts, but a shame you bought it from kcochibo collectibles. Everything in that store is well overpriced.

At least you know it's legit and good condition though.

I would always choose to pay a little extra and buy from a smaller seller rather than a larger dealer as you know you get a better more personalised service. I always try and buy from collector's too if I can as I like to know an item has been well looked after and has been kept in perfect condition.

As you can see, it's the centerpiece of my display case (I gotta update the pic, it's even more packed now heh)

Definately the rarest sealed MG in existence. There are many other collectibles with much lower print runs however that do have some sort of factory seal. In person the gold box is spectacular, especially considering how fragile it is. The cellophane wrap looks much better in person than the flash on my camera makes it out to look heh.

I paid $200 for it rarebucky. Yeah I know definetly overpriced but considering the shipping time, packaging, and over all condition it came in it was well worth it. Not to mention that he communicates with you well and is very honest.

Just a random question but how do you guys store your collection? Right now I just have them in a drawer because I don't really have a huge collection yet. And do you guys buy any plastic sleeves for an extra layer of protection for each game or no?

I keep the DVD-sized games in little plastic sleeves that resealable. Keeps them from rubbing against each other and still makes them look nice. And yes, $200 for KH is overpriced - it is a solid $100-ish game if mint

Can I ask where you get your plastic sleeves from? I've been looking into those for a few days now but I'm not sure where to buy them. Also I know for comic books you want 'acid-free' sleeves but does that even matter for video games?
