Post your holy grail... (your rarest sealed game)
Locked
LOL Dazz, I actually searched to see what that game was about. It is rare, but for a good reason. A game about a diabetic on insulin
It ranks up there with ET for atari.
Anyone else interested, there is a sealed one in an ebay store for $85.

2 other games exist in that "wealth fight" domain on SNES:
Packy&Marlon
Rex Ronan ( you fight against Tobacco)

Says on the front of the box: "An action-adventure game about diabetes"

There is a guy on Nintendoage that has all 4 sealed.
Mine would be Final Fantasy III for SNES (that I DID NOT pay an arm and a leg for) or the forthcoming Radiant Silvergun that I am awaiting in the mail.
Hmmm.... Does Everyone Have A Sealed Copy Of FFIII Except Me???

and a sealed chrono as well!
and a sealed chrono as well!
I definitely don't have Chrono and don't have $1k+ to shell out for it. But I would like one
My FFIII cost me $200. It was about 2 years ago and was a fluke BIN that I won on ebay. Only 1 picture (but the vertical seal was evident), found it on a Saturday morning probably 10 minutes after the guy posted it. Figured it was worth the risk. Got it in the mail and lo and behold, it's legit and beautiful. I would say a 9.5/10.

Just to add - over the next few months I will post pics of my collection. I have some very nice stuff, for NES all the way through Xbox 360. My sealed Radiant Silvergun should be here any day now - I am crossing my fingers there are no cracks!

Yes i have my fingers crossed for you too... it can be a heartwrenching experience when an expensive game like that arrives with tiny fractures in the case.

I got my Radiant Silvergun today and it is GEM MINT. I guess all the finger crossing worked
Next up on my "grail" list is a sealed Panzer Dragoon Saga. That should be a solid $400...

300$ hmmm... pretty much.

Last sealed copy on ebay of PDS (maybe Sep/Oct) went for $450. I would buy for $300 in a heartbeat.
looks great!
Rarebucky, that is AWESOME that you got a mint FFIII for only $200!!!! I envy you!! I got one at $500 (that is perfect, save for 1 corner coming a tiny bit out of the shrinkwrap) and a GEM mint one by trading a few games.
I definitely agree that part of the fun of game collecting is to be able to get some RARE games for cheap prices, but for the most sought after games, that is near impossible nowadays. So kudos to you on that bro! I think my best deal was a gem mint seam-style FFVII black label for $200 (including free shipping) about a year and a half ago.

I agree. Anyone with enough money can buy everything they see. Part of the fun of game collecting is getting real deals and I have gotten quite a few on ebay over the years. It's usually either bad listings (i.e. not saying new or sealed in the title) or clueless sellers who put low BINs that lead to the best deals, like on my FFIII.
This way i got Asian Shadowrun version from UK for 6$ and Maten no Soumetsu for 5$. The only ones on ebay for years. lol
Asian Shadowrun for $6!?! Nice!
