I recently purchased a very expensive sealed NES game from a very noted seller on ebay. The game arrived yesterday and while it is in excellent conditon, it reeks of smoke. 2 questions. Do you think a seller is obligated to post on ebay that they smoke? For us collectors it is a very big deal. Secondly, how do you get this smell out?

Well who knows what bad habits the sellers have. Maybe someone store their games in the toilet shed? lol
The easiest way is to put it outdoors on fresh air. However it needs to be covered from sunlight

I have e-mailed the seller to see what he has to say. COLLECTORS SHOULD NOT SMOKE!!!
use baby wipes , wet wipes . they clean anything !
I'd say don't use any products on it, if it's a really expensive game. The smell will go off in some time normally
i use baby wipes to clean any sealed games i have that have stickers or dirt on it . i have some very rare games and i would not do it if there was any chance of damage . baby wipes are safe on human skin so its not going to damage plastic , is it .
