I jsut collect German releases...so I get them in Germany.
But they are also rare as hell here in Germany.
Ok, there are a lot of sealed games which are very very common (Yeti, a lot of Platinum games, some Racing games...).
You can find them every day in the German ebay. But games like the Tetris or Shadow Madness or FF VIII etc....are also very difficult to get.
I would say they appear maybe once half a year.
For example a not so popular game like Shadow Madness appears the first time since maybe a year.
I have to know it, because I check about 3-5 times a day the new auctions on ebay (Playstation) for about 2 years now.
I think it's the same with ebay.co.uk

Yeah, I saw you bid on those MMX4 and X5 copies...I think you overpaid but who am I to say? As an aside, you should PM me before I post my sealed Saturn and Genesis games on the bay...

I probably overpaid for the X games, but I know the seller well and his games are always top notch, condition wise so a lil more goes well with me. I'd be honored to contact you before you list your Saturn and Genesis, as I have quite the list of gems I'm seeking to fill.

I think this was mine xD
@bballno1: Maybe you haven't seen that this one I bought is with the Nintendo tear strip. The one for 78£ I saw too, but this was only with the red tear strip (not Nintendo, it's a small red tear strip only). 170£ is really expensive and the sealing isn't even perfect. I think because the tear strip is opened a bit I saved up to the half of money. I think a perfect copy would go for 300£ minimum. Okay, I'm not every day on ebay, but I never saw a Zelda MM with the Nintendo tear strip for months on ebay.

the 1 i saw definitly had the red nintendo tearstip (not the plain red one), maybe wasnt £78 but it was in the £70's and that wasnt long ago. thats why i was so surprised when i saw that copy went for £170 and its not even perfect
also i dont think its worth anywhere near £300 yet, even a perfect one. i think the only n64 game right now that would be worth near £300 would be paper mario

Are you absolutly sure? I can't imagine, for Zelda games I look nearly every day.
Maybe I overpaid. Would be interesting what GP has to say about it.

yeah positive, although happyheed says another 1 on ebay uk went for £170 recently so maybe you paid the average price for it at this time?

The copy that Jaffar bought, was the same one that happyheed is talking about and it went for £170, i was very suprised and was thinking about bidding until i saw the damage to the seal at the back, i thought it was not going to go for over £100, as there have been alot of copies on eBay lately, that have sold for less than £100, mostly with the sold red strip though
nice addition Jaffar
finally paypal worked??? very good

And that's the big difference. My highest bid was 170£ because I thought it could go so high. I wasn't even at home when the auction ended, so I had luck to win it. Even with this damage on the seal I'm happy now I own it.
@SH: Yes, I had very much luck. The seller gave me time up to Wednesday and the money came Thuesday evening. I also had luck that the game came through the custom. I had nothing to pay.

Its a great addition, and i think the version with the red nintendo tear strip is certainly more desirable, and i only want this version.
Good snag my friend.

the high selling price is to be blamed on me
i was expecting it to close at around 90 and made a last minute bid of 170 to be on the very safe side. apparently you entered your maximum bid before mine, so you won. gratz!

Ah I saw there was another who bid 170£ and I wondered why I won. So now all is clear. I overpaid because of you
^^ No even now I think the price was okay. Maybe for most of you the game has not this value... But it's Jaffar who owns a copy of a sealed Zelda MM now
... even if it's not perfect.

just let me buy the next copy
I was lucky and managed to get factory sealed Dial Q Wo Mawase! for Mega Drive. It is one of the two unlicensed Mega Drive games which are considered rare. Other being Divine Sealing (http://cgi.ebay.com/SEGA-GENESIS-DIVINE-SEALING-SHOOTER-COMPLETE-RARE-Last1_W0QQitemZ370043723313QQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116) (click for eBay link), which appears on eBay occasionally. But I have never seen Mawase on eBay, not even in used condition.
Official NTSC-J Mega Drive games didn't have factory seal, but these two unlicensed games did have the seal sticker.
Pictures are from the seller:
How much you ask? Only 70 including courier, which is about 10 more what the price is shown in back of the box in current currency.
