i'm really interested about the different ways in which pal nes games were sealed. i have found a number of different ways

red nintendo seal
solid red line seal
euro style blister pack
plain cellophane
black nintendo sticker
and the last one....

white round nintendo sticker with writing in grey (as can be seen on the castlevania box)- this one i have seen a number of different times, were they used to seal the console, (i don't think they were used to seal games)?

has anybody come across any other methods?

has anyone ever seen a red sealed mario or zelda game on the nes?

what other nes games have you seen with the red seal?

also pictured is castlevania 1 with a solid red seal going through it, which i am a bit dubious about!
has anybody seen a sealed pal mana on the snes?
wow really amazing!
looks great!
Very nice collection! :P
Wow

I'm really jealous

Would love to own Jet Force Gemini, the Zelda games, Banjo-Kazooie and Diddy Kong Racing.
i had mario kart 64, ocarina of time, and mario 64 aswell, but i sold the 3 for £600 a few months ago when prices were going crazy! who can turn down those sort of prices!!

Well, collectors should resist. Exception: If you have 2 pcs. of every sealed game.

One sealed Ocarina Of Time is nice. Two is pure indulgence! And obviously better than having one, but if I had two of everything, i'd still never sell or open them!

Great collection though dude! Some really nice titles there!
quite pleased with superman, i have never seen a copy with the red nintendo seal before. (by the way all the games are in plastic cases)

i'm looking forward to seeing the pics of your n64 collection Gemini-Phoenix, when do you think you will do it?

Wow, me neither, i'll have to add that to my list and keep my eye out for it then!

I actually still need to confirm whether or not the Tony Hawk's games came with a red tear strip also

Not for a while. At least, not until I can dig them out, but it will definitely be worth teh wait!
which other n64 games have you seen red sealed that you and i don't have? have you seen world cup 98?
Nice collection, some rearlly impressive games in there

wow very amazing sealed games!

Please post those pictures also in your first post in this thread

and please only post directly the pictures and no links

!
i have ammended, any probs just tell me
WTF???
PLEASE sell me your NES Kirby's Adventure

please, please, please ._.
Hey, the pictures were definitely worth the wait!

As many of you can now see, certain NES games did indeed come sealed with the red Nintendo tear strip. Maybe Rbundrd would be so kind to scan the NES games he has so we can use the pics in our official SGH Nintendo thread?

An amazing picture that is, with all those sealed NES games with red tear strips!

And yet another SGH member I see who has a sealed Tetris for GameBoy! Seems many of the rare games we all own are also owned by other members here! We're definitely a niche community!

I have seen one of the zelda however i can't quite recall which of the Zelda games it was.

Also very recently there was a mario brothers (the first one) sealed with the red tear strip on ebay.co.uk, i was watching it but the seller pulled the game before the auction ended, maybe had an offer, not sure, i can tell you the sellers ebay user id if it helps?
-thumbnail pics added (see top of the page)
-thanks for the comments, i'd love to sell you kirby, but i don't know if i will ever see another, so it's unlikely i'd ever consider selling it!
at the moment these sealed nes games pride of my collection!

- i've seen plenty of plain sealed mario and zelda games (without the tear strip), but someone must have the 3 mario and 2 zelda games with the tear strip.
It would you give away, how much would you sell it?

So incidentally: how much did you pay and you have it from Ebay? Can the PM also discuss if you prefer that

Edit:
have the Foil a cut on the top from the box?

do you mean is the cellophane torn?
there is a small tear in the cellothane in the top right corner. but i think it is very unlikely to have ever been opened.

kirby cost me about £30, i think the other copy i saw went for nearer £60
you have really got some nice games. I love your sealed Zeldagames very much. would you possibly sell one or two of them.(I'm interested in OoT and MM )
thanks for the tip (dj villa)on the sealed mb1 on the nes. it was me that won it, i just didn't want to say anything until i actually had it in front of me.
with 6 red sealed nes games now, i have more than anyone else - as far as i know.

i'd love to see some pics of other pal sealed nes games, if anybody has any... just imagine.. is there is a sealed stack up, dk jnr math, or mario arcade out there?
sorry none of my sealed games are for sale, especially the nes games.... unless of course someone offers me an obscene amount of money!!
