GIS Software Engineer. And no, it does not pay well.
I work in IT. Usually as a Systems Administrator, with a dash of database/networking added. Lately, however, I've been spending most of my work time on doing web coding/programming (including database programming). Eh. It's better than paperwork. /shrug
^SQL I imagine.

HTML & PHP for the actual website generation (plus everything that goes with that: CSS, etc), and yes, SQL as far as the database coding goes.

SQL can be a pain, but honestly, it's better than pretty much any other database language (FoxPro, Clarion, etc). Also, the fact that it has a long history helps, because most of the strangeness is well understood.

I finished High school (actually Gymnasium) this spring and have been working for several months now.

I have been in "career world" for about a year, I used to have part time job when I was in my final year of Gymnasium.

I'm looking forward to medical school but it's hard to get there when you're working and not just reading the books for exams.

I'm under 20 years old so I think that I can work another year and look if I want go to the med school (and earn money for sealed video games

)
im also under 20 aswell

im a college student at the mo in my 2nd year studying general business. you're lucky, I still have no idea what I want to do yet

just buying some time to think about it whilst getting something 'useful'

At what age you can start college in UK? In here Finland college students in second year are at least 20 years old or older.

Med school has been my dream from elementary school. But it's so damn hard to get to the school, because about 10% of the people who take exams gets in.

I have been thinking going for a course which helps you pass the exams but they cost over 1000€

Well if I sell a few games or save money which I get from work it wouldn't be so hard but as I am collector I can't save money.
You have to stay in secondary/high school until you are 16. That is compulsary but after that you are free to either continue studying at school (this is called the 6th form), get a job or go to college.

So you can start college when you are 16 or over

College is much better than school so im glad I went, much more freedom there and you dont get kept in for detention or write lines

But unfortunately I have no clue what I might like to do job wise, so like i said above, im basically buying some time to think about what i may like to do after college whilst getting a business diploma.

Yes its the same here i think if you are 19 years old or over then you have to pay over £500 to enter the course but if you are under that age when you start you get in for free

There are also no exams to be taken for entry into the college I go to, and also there are no exams throughout the 2 years, only coursework.

Same though I would really like to start earning properly so I have more to spend on sealed games

But with college, weekends, petrol etc then I have little left by the end of it
I am a 2nd year Biology Uni Student

I get 105 euro each month from the government. I get cloth and food from my parents. So i have like 4-60 euro to "invest" in something (games), rest must go to normal things like booze, soda and candy.
Cool!
When i was about 18 i worked part-time and earned about100$ per month

And a friend of mine is a student in a music university in Germany. And he gets about 600 euro from their government.
