Well I understand that it has no seam, and so does everyone who looked at the auction. I'm not saying that this game was factory sealed, but I KNOW for sure that the games he's sells (with the seams) are genuine. I would not buy any game without the seam myself.

And as far as his prices, he has always said people pay to much for games, and I believe he puts crazy prices just to see if people are crazy enough to pay it. He does have( best offer) , and he knows the value of most of the games he's selling.

He is saying it is factory sealed because he purchased it from capcom on ebay. I don't believe he is being dishonest, but what I am saying is that Capcom themselves resealed it. He won't get $500 or $400 or anywhere near that much, but it doesn't hurt to ask. BTW, Tim is an excellent seller, highly recommended!

He basically said it was a reseal, so I would tend to believe him. More difficult for you to risk since you're outside the US, but more power to you

rarebucky.....I didn't know the story behind that game, but yeah even though it's new, it's not a very desirable copy without the seam imo.

I read your email rarebucky but my opinion is that the dude wouldn't know a venthole or a vertical seam if it hit him in the face. McVan's is trusted, and the pics show a vertical seam which I saw as legit.

Anyways 100$ isn't too much risk IMO since my max bid was much higher.

there are lots of resellers who must have a team of monkeys searching eBay 24/7 so they can buy games for a little cheaper and then put them in their eBay stores forever at an extremely high price. sfloaknyc/falconpunch!, billsportcardz/dvdgalaxy, mustang2005gt, ultimate_video_connection they all do this.
