Members of the guild shall be ranked per category. Categories are as follows:

Total number of unique factory sealed games (All consoles / All regions)
- Ranking will be highest to lowest
- All guild members who meet criteria to be included in this ranking list
- CRITERIA: Minimum entry is 100 games

Total number of unique factory sealed games (Console specific / Single region)
- Ranking will be highest to lowest
- Top 20 guild members who meet criteria only (Eg, if member XYZ owns the most factory sealed games for 10 consoles, then they will dominate the top half of the list)
- CRITERIA: Minimum entry is 50 games per console

Total number of unique factory sealed import games (All consoles / Multiple regions)
- Ranking will be highest to lowest
- All qualifying guild members who meet criteria to be included in this ranking list
- CRITERIA: Minimum entry is at least 1 import game

Total number of unique factory sealed games per franchise (All consoles / All regions)
- Ranking will be highest to lowest
- Top 20 guild members who meet criteria only (Eg, if member XYZ owns the most factory sealed games for 10 franchises, then they will dominate the top half of the list)
CRITERIA: Minimum entry is at least 10 games per franchise

Total number of games (All consoles / All regions)
- Ranking will be highest to lowest
- All guild members who meet criteria to be included in this ranking list
- CRITERIA: Minimum entry is 500 games (Duplicates allowed)

Conditions:
A) Minimum entry into the SGH Guild is strictly limited to those members who meet the criteria for one or more category and are known to own the minimum (All systems - PC games not included)
B) Exact numbers will be required for initial membership, as too are periodical updates
- Members are encouraged to create and keep updated their own Guild post in the thread below
C) New guild categories shall be added at a later date and dependant on demand
D) Submissions for entry per category are dependant on a relevant post made in the thread below and which follows the following format: DS: xx games, GameCube: xx games, PlayStation: xx games etc... (As displayed below in the rankings)

Terminology:
A) "Unique" meaning any games that are not duplicated in the collection (Therefore 10 identical copies of Zelda Ocarina Of Time do not qualify)
- However, Limited and / or Collector's Editions WILL be allowed in addition to a standard edition, as too will obvious notable variations (Ie, cover variations), and also the same title from a different region
B) "Import" meaning any owned games that are not from your home region (Eg, For members resident in the UK or Europe, this means US or Japanese games; For residents of the US, this means PAL or Japanese games)
C) "Franchise" meaning any series of games (Ie, Zelda; Pokemon; Final Fantasy; Metal Gear etc...)

how many people on here own 500+ factory sealed games though? i think you are one of the only ones gp, if not the only one?

Yes. As the Guild is only for members who own 500+ sealed games, the minimum number of games a member can have in this specific category has to be 500

No, I can think of a few others here. It isn't intended to be initially available to all from the start, and that is half the point of it, plus it gives others a goal to work towards, and thus keeping the Guild exclusive - As time goes by, more people will obtain the minum requirement and gain entry into the Guild.

And you yourself have 500 sealed games? Do you have statistics?
500 is a stupid and insane number. Because many of us collect VERY specific games. No way we can amass such collection if we wanted.

I am in the process of counting exact numbers as we speak, but I know for sure I have at least 750 (As of last count), but estimate exact numbers to be between 800-900

What would you prefer? 250? Is that more reasonable? I wanted to choose a nice round figure that would apply to some, but not all, but something which is both reasonable and impressive at the same time. I wanted to make the Guild to actually mean something special

I guess even if i got ALL sealed games i ever needed it would be around 250-300.. I wonder how much rarebucky has...
But it's not about the number. It's about what games you collect and how hard it is to get em. Some sealed genesis and snes games take YEARS to find.

Overall idea is kinda weird IMHO. Some kind of Abramovich one-man club.

You love that guy! Lol! I mean, you're always going on about him. I think you really are Abramovich! Heh!

I've finished my count. Out of 1172 games in total, I only counted 764 sealed, but that wasn't including the duplicates and sealed games in my trade box which would probably bring it closer to 800. Less than I thought I had to be honest. For the purpose of the Guild though, i'm going to stick with 764 as my total

Tell you what, i'll take a look at it and see what I can do. I wanted there to be some kind of minimum criteria for membership though, so perhaps i'll set criteria per category instead?

I don't think there should be any criteria and any SGH guild at all.
But maybe we should have some additional field in a profile like "sealed games: number"

yeah I totally agree!
I think a SGH guild is not what we need here

! Everyone who join us becomes automatically a privileged SGH member

... and it doesn't matter how many sealed game he/she has ...

PS: If anyone wants that profile field just start a poll in the off topic were everyone can vote yes or no ...
