yeeeees....very nice

some games of this collection would also fit very good into mine
well I have to say I am lucky that the most vicious collectors on here are PAL! If not for that I would never be able to get anything lol
I just took a selection of the rarest PlayStation games I have just to tease you all! Lol. These are generally the games that hardly ever appear for sale in this condition, and I would estimate a few are possibly worth above £100!

@ SammelHammel ~ You have a few games that would fit very well into my own collection! Lol!
how much would you say is the sealed Team Buddies?
I often see that UK (and australian) guys going crazy when they bid on this game.

It's hard to say. It fluctuates depending on demand. I have seen sealed copies sell as high as £60+, and as low as Buy It Now £15... I bought mine a few years ago for the lower price from a seller who had a couple of cases of sealed copies
Yeahj

Nice, cant wait to see all your games, it will do very much for the forum.
Nice Coleection, nice megaman collection, you don't see that X3 sealed alot.

Kickz has also recently bought a sealed MegaMan X3 as well, although he paid twice as much as I did for it! Lol! I would have had MegaMan X4 this week too, except Kickz decided to use the Buy It Now before I had a chance to grab it
judging by the size of your collection(s), I'm assuming either:

1. You don't collect based on games you played yourself, but rather based on what is considered rare by other collectors

2. You play a lot of video games

Are you basing that on what you have seen so far? What I have shared so far (Multi-platforms) is just a tip of the iceberg, and i've only posted about 1/3 of my entire collection. The photo above is just a taster! To answer your questions though:

1) Yes and no. A lot of the games I have bought sealed in the past are games I have unsealed as well and played to death, or games I have played through emulation or borrowed from a friend. The rest are made up of games I buy and want to play (Ie, new releases), but usually end up keeping my copies sealed and borrowing another copy from a friend to play. I will admit that a very small portion of my collection is made up of games that I have no interest in whatsoever, but have bought purely as an investment or simply because they are rare and I paid a fair price for them. These would probably only makeup a very small percentage of my collecction though, and most often than not it's beause they make up part of a sub-collection of some kind - Eg, in the case of the X360, I am partial to Limited Editions, although half of them I bought simply because of that fact and I would perhaps never have bothered with them if they weren't something special

2) Yes, this is also true. Although many are borrowed from friends, which is how I can play certain games and keep my own collection sealed at the same time!
That Suikoden is a really beautiful. I wish I had one copy for myself.
Nah I was basing my idea on the thing you said in your first post:

"this is just a fraction..."

I admit I am guilty of the occasional buying a game I've never played before because I think it's a good deal. But probably not as much as you and others around here, again, based on collection size and how many copies of the same game ppl have.

I say a "Fraction", but I really meant about 1/3 of my sealed PlayStation games, and perhaps 1/5 of my PlayStation collection in total. I haven't an overly huge PlayStation collection at all, but what it lacks in substance it makes up for in quality! Mostly...

I have to confess, my PlayStation collection consists of two extremes: The rarest of the rare, and the cheapest of the cheap. Lol. I have some really common crappy games that I only own for the fact that they cost me little more than the cost of postage. There's no logical reason for me owning them apart from to bulk out the collection and because they only cost me 1p or something ridiculous like that. I don't discriminate! There are Army Men games and all sorts!

This is probably the collection that doesn't make any sense though, unlike the others that actually have a reason - Of course I own crappy Dreamcast games, but simply because I want a complete collection. Games I would otherwise never buy in a million years if it wasn't for the fact that to have a collection "Complete" you have to have the bad as well as the good games. Same goes for my N-Gage collection.

At the other end of the scale there's my US PlayStation collection, which consists of games I actually bought because they're games I actually wanted to play or because they weren't released here in the UK, and they just happen to be considered rare. That's just the way it happens.

As for the games above - These are the games in my collection that I personally consider to be rare. Some are rare games period, whilst others are rare to find in sealed condition. I have others, such as Primal Rage, which some may not consider rare at all, but I consider a sealed copy to be very rare - Just not as rare as the ones included above. Same could also be said for Medal Of Honor Underground, Tommi Makinen, or Koudelka...

I even have a sealed copy of Sheep!!!
You have to sell me all your PSOne games when you are sick of them!!!!
OMG! That's a fantastic collection!
> NES-Luke wrote:OMG! That's a fantastic collection!

Thanks! Unfortunately though there's still many more games I would like to have, and I don't personally think the collection is all that great (This is only a third of my PlayStation collection remember) - I actually admire Hardy's PlayStation collection, and would like to own even half of the titles he has. I don't think mine really compares
