Do you prefer games with or without hangtabs?

The style shown above I abhor. They're hard and fixed, so create storage problems. I don't mind the ones you seem to get on the backs of most American PS2 games though, especially if they are left unpunched and unused. They only become an issue when they have actually been used to hang the game up in a store

I also hated the original Mega Drive hanging tabs, and used to cut them off every chance I got, as they were part of the case design. An issue that was obviously addressed by Sega themselves and incorporated into the newer designed Mega Drive cases (Blue label), which allowed the hang tab to be folded down and clipped into the case

I find that some styles of hanging tabs are added by the stores, not by factory default. In the case of the Snes game shown above, I would leave it as it is and live with it, as removal would prove tricky and dangerous. But I also wouldn't devalue a game for having it there either, provided it hasn't caused any other damage through its existence

Personally, I like the unique look of a game with a hang tag better than one without one.

When it comes to storage, I HATE hang tags because they allways seem to get in the way of things!
