Misleading and inappropriate SO-THOUGHT sealed auctions

Here is what this seller now told me:

"I know that it was not opened, cause I bought it. How many times do I have to say that? I would not lose a dispute, your getting way out of hand with this. I have nothing to hide in any of my auctions, look at my feedback. I am not willing to take it back, if I was, I would have mentioned that in my auction. I don't have the time for it, and e-bay is where all my income comes from. I am an honest citizen, and don't appreciate the jabs. If you open it, that is your choice, but I promise you it would be new."

not a bad game. a bit of a grind at the end (impossible last boss battle). I recently uncovered my beta's with debug functionality was considering sell them them. not sure how to since ebay flags and kills off beta sales now it seems.

Rarebucky might as well open it to see if the contents are new. At this price, you are not loosing anything if it is new.

Well I opened it. The contents do look new (the system is still sealed inside the baggie. But the weird thing is the AC adaptor is not original. Does anyone know if SNES mini systems came with knockoff adaptors?

Wait...it gets even better. There are TWO new controllers inside! LOL! There's only supposed to be one. Does anyone want this? It's in beautiful shape and new...just not factory sealed.

Probably some package that the seller put together that is not even new! Do the cords and stuff have twist ties and wrapped in plastic?

These systems were going for less then $100 new last year. 1 seller had about 20 of them and sold them off 1 by one. Now it looks like the price has skyrocketed!

I don't remember new systems going for that much last year but you could be right. Yes, everything inside still has the twist ties and has the plastic on it (even the added 2nd controller!). Like I said, it's all new. Very, very weird though.

I'm not sure, but I'll check around for you.

can anyone tell me why the mini systems are in such demand? for one thing, they lack the ability to output s-video like the original system did.

Actually, I took a look last night at my other SNES mini...and it has an original adaptor. I don't know why this other "new" one has a replacement one. Very odd. Everything else is new inside.

wtf with description??

This auction is for Final Fantasy VII game for Playstation. This game is still new and sealed in original packaging. The shrink wrap remains in excellent condition with only a couple small tears, while there are no cracks anywhere. This is also not the version where the i in "masterpiece" is off positioned that some claim is a rare 'misprint'. When I shake the CD case lightly I can hear the instruction manual move slightly, but the game discs are all intact to their respective spindles, no discs are loose in the case. This version is the rare edition where it was made with a back insert that has green greatest hits on each side. I am 100% sure it's not a reseal, and this variation of production was made in limited copies for whatever the apparent reason was. Please see image. Please contact me with any questions.

He's right. There's a variation on the GH version where the front is not GH but it has GH labeling on the spines.

The Contra is definitely legit (those cardboard box games had that type of seal on the bottom) but the DKC 3 is a reseal. Adol, you should relist it. Someone's gonna be pissed if they win that.
