The title says it all. I do and sometimes feel like I'm more interested in the music than in the actual game (as a collection object). Some soundtracks are so damn hard to find!

Does anybody collect old sealed/used soundtracks?

I hve around 500 Video game japanese OSTs,
Inside of those, around 100 of them is the complete Falcom collection all CDs/LPs/Audio tape ever made by them.
My OSts are mint but used, not factory sealed (or like 10% of them MAX)

I think when my game collection end (hopefully) i'll start collecting some nice osts. From oldscholl snes rpg's of cause. And Falcom.. YES!!!!!
Yes, sometimes. But I don't put a priority on collecting soundtracks.
The biggest reason is, because of my philosophy behind collecting sealed games in the first place.
The need to collect Factory Sealed soundtracks is much less, because CDs can be copied without loss, while it's much harder for video games.
For me, collecting Factory Sealed games is a bizarre form of insurance; a guarantee that I'll always have a copy of a certain title that will work on a working console.
My most prized soundtrack is probably an original, Factory Sealed copy of "Ecco: Songs Of Time". Great music, and while not rare, it's so old that getting a Factory Sealed copy is almost impossible.
