nice start!
I'm stunned that in a week you have managed to secure so many hard to get sealed games, including the very rare and VERY sought after 100 Million Discs version of The Getaway, not to mention a sealed copy of MGSII (Retail), and even more surprisingly, a sealed copy of Twisted Metal Black! Plus Gungrave you previously mentioned you had gotten hold of - Twisted Metal and Gungrave being two of the games high up on my list of games I have been tracking down for over 5 years! Four games that are considered some of the hardest to get in sealed condition!

You're a bit of a dark horse aren't you my friend!

Thanks for the comments

Haha well I cant really explain it other than saying that its just been a very luky week! I bought most from ebay, inc the Getaway which went for suprisingly cheap (£36) also managed to get Kingdom Hearts 2 for £9.99 so ive been pretty fortunate so far. I prefer collecting ps2 games to nintendo as it seems like for one really rare nintendo game with the red strip, you can get a couple of just as rare ps2 one's for the same price, so im collecting both now

I managed to track down 2 Twisted Metal Black's and both versions of MGS2 from a private seller. I still have the 2nd one still which I could sell or preferably trade with you?
Yeah good start, makes me want to start a ps2 collection. Would love to own the the Getaway game, has to be one of favourite titles on the ps2, was definitely underated. - nothing beats the red nintendo tear strip though!!

Yep i agree

But ps2 games are nice to collect and they're quite cheap aswell!
New Mortal Kombat addition to the collection, pics updated

This version is special. Only 1,000 produced and were only given away to Sony exec's or for promotional useage. Very few of these 1,000 would have remained sealed, and include the original "Uncut" version of the game. The black label version also exists of the original uncut version (Can be identified by a "Parental Guidance" sticker on the case), and also as the "Edited" version, which is standard in the Platinum release

I didnt know that until I saw you wrote about it on your thread, makes it all the more rare to have sealed. There was also a limited 'king of the iron fist tournament' edition of Tekken 4 with a bonus disc that was only given out to competitors in that tournament in London, it also came factory sealed with the playstation 2 strip

Also, does anyone know anything about the Mortal Kombat set? Was it produced in limited quantities or a store exclusive as Ive never seen 1 before I bought this one? Thanks

I think it's similar to the Evil Dead set that was bundled with the Evil Dead Dvd. Some retailers do this from time to time, such as GAME
Updated pics, Primal has a sticker on it that seems to be a mission to get of and looks like its permanent so cant take it of, but it only cost 1p so cant complain!

In another thread you stated that you had the Collector's Edition of Primal - Do you have two copies? I ask, because the version you show above looks like the standard version. As far as I am aware, the Collector's Edition comes in a silver cardboard slipcase (Or maybe it's a tin, I can't remember) - Either way, I am pretty sure it has a silver cover at the very least, and it's quite hard to get hold of - I have been chasing it for some time to add to my PS2 LE sub-collection

Yeah its got a sliver holographic cover with collectors edition on the front. It also comes with a bonus sountrack disk and vip card. I have got it but it is under alot of my other stuff so will dig it out either tommorow or thursday when I receive the rest of my games and add more pics. You're right in saying its rare as I havn't seen one on ebay before nor have i seen the sealed standard edition in quite some time either.
Added: Virtua Fighter 4
Couple of new games added:

Gungrave
Rogue Galaxy
Hi there, I noticed your first game in that list - Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (Not to be Sold Separetly Black Case version) - that is the same game I have recently acquired. I also have the clear case edition with the bonus DVD. I assume the black case has the DVD too but I'm not sure. Can you confirm that it does?

Hi mate, No the black case edition doesnt have the bonus DVD. It was only released with the MGS2 PS2 Bundle ages ago. It came with only the 1 disc and a cealr strip - not one with the playstation writing on
OK thanks for clearing that up for me. The black case game I have is sealed but the clear case isn't. I didn't exactly want to open the black one to check

Cheers.
